Sullivan's has determined that the last week of mowing will begin November 9. Knowing that many people like their lawns to be a little longer over the winter, some may choose to place signs on their lawns to skip mows in the coming weeks. Be sure those signs are noticeable from your neighbor's lawns and not just the roadway. The flags people have been using to mark sprinkler heads are another option.

Atlantic Lakes will be cleaning up litter from Lighthouse Road on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 starting at 10:00 am. Reflective vests and garbage bags will be provided. Sullivan's has announced their plan to fertilize common areas and the Villa lawns on Saturday, October 3, 2026 weather permitting.

It has been reported that a raccoon has been encountered in the area that shows no fear of human or animals. This is a classic sign of a sick animal. Our pond maintenance company Dragonfly Pond Works (formerly Envirotech) recently completed some regular maintenance on our ponds and provided a report to the Board. Sullivan's Landscaping has suspended the rest of the mowing this week (July 22-24, 2026) due to the heavy rain we've had the past couple of days. The ground is too wet to mow without doing damage to the ground.

The Board is aware of the significant increase in the amount of algae in the ponds. Everything possible that is environmentally friendly is being done to mitigate this issue. There is no need to call, email, or put in work orders about the algae.
