You likely have seen more activity in and around Atlantic Lakes. Here is some of what has been taking place recently.
The pool had repair done to the drains making them safer for residents.
The pool area and clubhouse has been power washed.
Sussex County Conservation District reviewed pond structural deficiencies with developers.
Some remediation of pond structural deficiencies has begun.
Envirotech began the springtime preventative maintenance in and around the ponds.
The fountains were reset to stay on longer into the evening.
A small fire started along Lighthouse Road in mulch around a tree. Good Samaritans driving by put out the fire (Tuesday).
Area rug in the seating area of the Clubhouse was replaced.
Decorative lights were installed on the brick columns at the entrance to the community.
The base to the RV/Boat Storage lot appears to be mostly completed, with structures for light poles.
We've made application to the Town of Selbyville to install much needed street lights on Gennaker and Corsair.
No Trespassing signs will be installed near Pond #6 by the clubhouse.
A new round table for the pool deck is scheduled to be delivered next week.
Remember, the pool is scheduled to be open on May 23rd.
The next Community meeting is scheduled for June 3rd at 6 pm. This will be an in-person meeting with elections for 3 Board positions.
